There’s a quiet kind of anticipation that comes with this season...The slow mornings, the gentle kicks, the way everything feels like it’s about to shift...and somehow already has. It’s a chapter that moves faster than you expect, even while you’re in it.


The photographs that matter most from this time aren’t just about how it looked, but how it felt to be here, waiting, growing, becoming.


My approach to maternity sessions is relaxed, unhurried, and rooted in connection. There’s no pressure to pose or perform...just space to be present, to breathe it in, and to let things unfold naturally. Some of the most meaningful images happen in those in-between moments; wind moving through your hair, a quiet touch, the way you instinctively hold your belly.


Whether we’re on the coast at sunset, or somewhere that feels like home, my goal is to create honest, timeless images that reflect this fleeting season for what it truly is. Images that take you back not just to how you looked, but to everything you were feeling before your world changed in the best way.

Maternity sessions with Driftwood and Dune Co. are designed to feel easy, unhurried, and natural. This is a slower, more intentional kind of session...one that gives you space to simply be in this moment.


We’ll begin with a light amount of guided direction to create beautifully composed images that highlight you and this season...your connection, your movement, the quiet strength and softness of pregnancy. Nothing stiff or overly posed, just simple guidance that helps you settle in and feel like yourself.


As the session unfolds, we lean into a more organic, candid approach. The wind, the water, the rhythm of the shoreline, everything becomes part of the experience. Whether it’s the way you rest your hands on your belly, a quiet moment with your partner, or just taking it all in, this is where the most meaningful images begin to happen.


The result is a balanced gallery: timeless, artful portraits paired with honest, emotive moments that reflect this fleeting season for what it truly feels like—images that will only grow more meaningful with time.
