Getting Ready by the Water


Hyon Joon began her day at a nearby hotel, surrounded by close friends and that calm anticipation that settles in before everything begins. The space was bright and peaceful, with soft summer light filtering in as she got ready—unhurried, present, and visibly excited for what was ahead.


Greg, meanwhile, got ready at his family’s shore house, just steps from the water. It’s also where they keep their boat—a detail that felt especially fitting given the setting and his connection to the shore. The morning there was relaxed and familiar, grounded in family and the rhythms of a place that clearly means a lot to him. Those parallel starts—one quiet and refined, the other deeply personal and coastal—set the tone for the day.


A Dockside First Look & Private Vows


Before the ceremony, Hyon Joon and Greg chose to see each other privately on the dock at Clarks Landing Yacht Club. With boats gently moving in the background and the marina stretching out behind them, they shared their first look away from the crowd.
